Description

The LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) Light Sensor Module is designed to detect changes in ambient light levels and convert them into a digital or analog signal. It’s commonly used in light-sensitive projects such as automatic night lights, solar tracking systems, and smart home automation setups. Perfectly compatible with Arduino, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller platforms.

  • Working Voltage: 3.3V–5V – supports both 3.3V and 5V systems

  • Output Type: Digital and analog outputs – use digital for light threshold triggering or analog for precise light intensity reading

  • Sensitivity Adjustment: Onboard potentiometer for setting the light threshold

  • LED Indicators: Power and signal status LEDs for real-time feedback

  • Compact Design: Easy to install on breadboards and DIY circuit boards

  • Typical Applications: Street light automation, smart lighting systems, solar panel tracking, and light alarms

  • Plug & Play: Simple 3-pin interface (VCC, GND, OUT) for hassle-free integration

  • Compatible With: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, STM32, and other development platforms
